Money For Border Fence: ‘Bout Damn Time!

Look, the Democrat led Congress finally did something

The Senate overwhelmingly approved $3 billion for added border security that includes a 700-mile fence on the Mexico border, as Democrats lost another bid to force a U.S. pullout from Iraq.

The popular border security measure, an amendment to the $459 billion defense appropriations bill, passed 95-1, ensuring Republicans are not put in the awkward position of challenging President Bush’s promised veto of a homeland security bill that includes the same provision.

Also, Democrats lost another bid to force defeat and retreat in Iraq. What are they, 0-9 this year?

We don’t need a stinking fence. Just mine the U.S. borders one mile wide and 3,000 miles long in the southern United States / Estados Unidos. A few A-10′s and Spectre C-130 gunships could provide some recon as well? Operation Remember The Alamo 2007! Now that’s border security… Let me hear an A M E N….

Hey, the blogadswap ad is going… either you fixed it… or it just wasn’t working temporarily. How do you like blogadswap? Is it driving traffic to your site?

Could make waterskiing kind of difficult for US residents, Darth ;)

Morning, Meg. There must have been an issue, haven’t done anything to it. Blogadswap is OK, does drive some traffic, but, not a lot. I do not do that thing where I click on it myself much, or pay for extra hits. But, I do see some traffic for it.

That’s a lot of fence they will need – they better call http://www.fencetown.com – where operators are standing by – lol
