Nifong Gets The First Of Many Days In Court

RALEIGH – Durham District Attorney Mike Nifong, under fire for his handling of the Duke lacrosse case, begins his battle this morning against professional misconduct charges brought by the N.C. State Bar.

Nifong faces ethical and professional misconduct charges over his handling of the lacrosse case. He is accused of making inflammatory statements, withholding evidence favorable to the defense and then lying about it to judges and other court officials.

He could, at the least, lose his law license. Then there are potential civil and criminal complaints. One reaps what one sow’s. Should be reaping around 10am here in Raleigh.

Blackbeard – So Nifong wants a FAIR hearing now, after he ruined the lives of three white Duke athletes and scholars, not to mention putting their parents hundreds of thousands of dollars in the red? “VANITY…. My favorite sin!” – The Devil’s Advocate (1997 Al Pacino)!!!
