First, I am going by what the story says. Second, you obviously do not understand who the Constitution applies to. Third, kinda funny how the majority of Democrats voted for the Patriot Act. Twice. I have a wee bit of advice for the poster… read the bill before you open your mouth and prove once again how ignorant you are. In fact, I have a feeling you’re not very familiar with the Constitution, either. You ought to read it some time. “Restoring the Constitution Act of 2007″ refers to rolling back the Bush/Cheney Executive Branch power grab over the last few years. In other words, this bill is intended to restore the Executive Branch-Kegislative Branch-Judicial Branch “checks and balances.”

By the way, it’s a huge leap of faith on your part to assume that *all* of the Gitmo detainees were hostile anti-American terrorists. A good number of them were sold to the CIA by rival Afghani tribesmen. This is all well-documented, if you choose to look outside your biases.

Look, this ain’t a dictatorship, kid. You should crack open a book sometime… that is, if you have the courage to think on your own, without the direction of Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity.

Just after the devestating 9-11-01 ‘Attack on America’ where 19 radical Islamic terrorists killed 2,996 Americans, that included 120 foreigners, in three U.S. states in a three hour period, my fellow law enforcement buddy at work was activated and flew on numerous missions from the Eagle Wing to Kabul and then to GITMO. He supervised the security transport of the radical Islamic ‘detainees’
during their missions. These scumbags had to be shackled and cuffed, and hooded – because they tried to CHEW, and BITE THROUGH the hydraulic lines on the USAF transport aircraft! The NAACP and ACLU won’t tell you the truth, will they? I would have preferred the Waffen SS Gestapo techniques to have been used on these supposed DETAINEES! As for GITMO, yeah – close it, and move these detainee terrorists to HOME CONFINEMENT status of Pelosi, Reid, Kennedy, Biden, the CNN and NBC anchors and executives, and any represenative of the 19 Blue States of Socialism! After all, jihadist insurgent detainee terrorists(freedom fighters?) make excellent baby sitters, and make sure to hide the pets, especially the farm animals!
