WTW: President Gerald Ford Passes On, Liberals Seethe

Morning, y'all, Jebediah here, and I am very sad over the passing of President Gerald R. Ford at 93 years old. Teach has also sent in his condolences, as well. From one of the most popular First Ladies, Betty Ford

"My family joins me in sharing the difficult news that Gerald Ford, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather has passed away at 93 years of age," Mrs. Ford said in a brief statement issued from her husband's office in Rancho Mirage. "His life was filled with love of God, his family and his country."

God Bless Jerry.

President Bush, in a statement Tuesday night, said: "President Ford was a great American who gave many years of dedicated service to our country. On Aug. 9, 1974, after a long career in the House of Representatives and service as vice president, he assumed the presidency in an hour of national turmoil and division. With his quiet integrity, common sense and kind instincts, President Ford helped heal our land and restore public confidence in the presidency."

He will be missed.

But, as Teach did yesterday, I will do today, delving into what Captain Ed calls the Fever Swamps. And, as Teach did, back to the Hufftardians, who have truly taken over from the DUmmies and Kosbats as the biggest Moonbats in the mainstream Left-O-Sphere

  • Jerry, you may die, but I still won't pardon you for your crimes. Enjoy eternity in hell, you bastard.
  • Thanks for all the hooked drives and three putts and the falling down airplane stairs and the substance addled wife and the soap opera son and pardon of a person who was a 'crook' and just whatever…
  • Never elected President just like Chimpy McFlightsuit. A nonentity that pardoned Nxon. (BDS strikes again)
  • Now we'll have to have the laying in state, the big ceremonial funeral etc. until everyone is bored to death. Nice of him to give bush some cover while he finds his comfort zone on Iraq. Tragedy? An old republican bastard dies at 93 after a useless dotage playing golf. Where's the tragedy in that?
  • Can we parole Squeeky Fromme now?
  • A TRAGEDY? A tragedy for whom? The pardoning of Richard Nixon was a tragedy! A travesty! Burn in hell Jerry. You helped the Neocons become the power that ruined our country for years to come! We'll now have to listen for the next several days how great you were… THAT is a tragedy!

Thank you for the best laugh I've had all week.

    LOL! By: SeconLine

There is plenty more of that material, I only made it through page 2. Those people symbalize the very definition of white trash. I should mention that there were plenty of nice remarks, and not just by Republicans. But, this shows the typical Lefty response. So much for being compassionate and caring, eh? Blogs For Bush has already had to replace one liberal rant, and surely more to follow.

Teach and I were still a little too young to really remember the Ford Presidency, but, he did what he could to bring dignity and respect back to the USA. He was a fun guy, who wiped out alot because he was always running around, being very athletic. Some of you may remember the pipes while working in the Oval Office. He could also hold court on the legislation he wanted passed, knowing it inside and out. And, he was a politician that cared more about the business of America, then his own aspirations.

You will be missed, President Ford.

Michelle Malkin and Hot Air have more, as well as being a good place to start to see what the Right-O-Sphere has to say.

Thursday morning update: I must say that I am rather disappointed, though not surprised, that so many in the media mention that the Vietnam War was lost while Ford was president, without mentioning that it was because the Democratic Congress pulled the funding.

Hey Teach, off topic, but have you gotten your ticket to see the Breck Girl in person? http://johnedwardsevents.com/20061230b/

Is it even possible to find people so devoid of character and compassion than the Moonbats? Geez, a former US President just died, one that might have done more to heal and repair our government than anyone in the last 50 years, and these are their first thoughts? Pathetic.

They will have to answer for the evil within their hearts one day.

  5. Oh, lord, Ogre, that is horrible. I might try, have to work that day, catching up from some vacation days.

This is just business as usual for the ‘bats, especially those at the Hufftard Post.

  6. Necrofagia…
