I won’t disagree with what you wrote, she was wrong in doing those things. But, she is young, as were we all at one time, and giving her a second chance could give her the chance to really make something of herself that matters.

Conversely, firing her could make her bitter, and harm her. But, now it is up to her to keep her part of the bargain.

I don’t agree with the Donald. America may be about second chances, but it’s also about personal responsibility and obeying the law. Miss USA is supposed to be more than just eye candy, she should also be an example that young women aspire to. Underage drinking is a crime, and having your “example” in rehab is a pretty poor example.
