On the flip side, you can bet they will start the impeachment hearings on Jan 20, 2007. I hope Bush tells them to go to hell, and that he and the people in the exec branch will not participate. They are unhinged and deluded. I have never seen the pure irrational hatred as they have for this president. I think it's cause they got a taste of power during the Clinton years and really really didn't want to give it up - so in their minds it was 'stolen' from them. Anyway - I agree with you - politics is a dirty bizniz and nice guys don't make good politicians. I think Lincoln was hated as bad as Bush (I wasn't there at the time - but I've heard rumors).
