Video Response To McCaskill Michael J. Fox Ad

I, along with alot of great bloggers out there, mentioned the ad that Michael J. Fox filmed for Democratic challenger Claire McCaskill in Missouri regarding embryonic stem cell research. He also did one for Dem. Benjamin Cardin and Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle (D.), and plans on appearing in NJ and Illinois for Democrats (from the Washington Post)

"To me, this is a shame that they're exploiting someone like Michael J. Fox for something that the scientists say is not going to do anything," said Douglas Stiegler, executive director of Maryland's Family Protection Lobby.

It is, and is eerily reminiscent of the Kerry/Edwards campaign saying that they could make Christopher Reeve walk if only those evil Republicans would let us abort more babies and use federal money to pay for the research.

Well, there is now a rebuttal video, featuring Jim Caviezel of ‘The Passion of Christ’ and Cardinals pitcher Jeff Suppan, with a hat tip to Stop The ACLU

Junk science is junk science, particularly when it is used to worship the God Of Abortion on Demand.

Mary Katherine Hamm points out that Cardin voted againts stem cell research.

Allahpundit at Hot Air has his take on this issue.

You really need to check out the “Related” section under the video at RightWinged. It’s an eye opener.

If Fox had spent the $73 mil he’s put into his fund raising foundation into an actual research facility, maybe he would have his cure. Stem cell, fetal or adult, research is not illegal anywhere in the US, so long as it is privately funded. The Feds are only saying it is not something for which public monies should be used.
