My Dodgers lost last night in a sweep, out of the playoffs. Sigh.
My Devils lost last night to Dallas, but, the season is young.
My Pirates beat Virginia 31-21, great game!
We’ll see if the Giants can beat the Deadskins. It depends whether the 4th quarter Gmen show up in the 1st, and if the defense decides it wants to play at at least the college level.
Hmm, maybe Preston should get Mary Katherine Hamm a Volunteers shirt like that?

Like an idiot, I forgot to change my Fantasy defense from Buffalo to the Gmen. Dumb!
Well, my Florida State Seminoles truly sucked last Thursday and lost to former FSU assistant coach Chuck Amato’s NC State Wolfpack. Locals are screaming for Jeff Bowden to step down as offensive coordinator (Jeff is FSU head coach Bobby Bowden’s son and managed to skirt the nepotism laws to get his son hired after Chris Richt left FSU to become head coach at Georgia). My alma mater, Mississippi State got spanked big time by West Virginia and fans are calling for the head coach Sylvester Croom to be fired. Fortunately my sports weekend was made better when the NY Yankees were knocked out early of the running for a World Series title (I am indeed a Yankee hater) and my New Orleans Saints beat the Tampa Bay Bucs 24-21 to make it to 4-1 in this 2006 season. Who’d thunk it?
