It would use federal money. Private is already allowed. But, so far, ESC research is batting zip, while ASC research is producing.

I haven’t seen the bill, but in all liklihood, this is a bill authorizing federal money on stem cell research — NOT preventing anyone else who wants to put their money where their mouth is from doing the research themselves.

Quite frankly, embryonic stem cell research is simply an excuse to say how great abortion on demand is.
